December News Summary
Hi all,
Hope everybody had a lovely new year!
- Even if I was not really sure to make a news summary this month or not, I kinda felt it was needed since we have made an official change to our name today!
Cheating Witches
- Going forward, the name Cheating Witches will be used to better reflect the game’s plot, intent, and narrative. This will also be way more easy to search for since the old name was really just creating 1000 hits+ on google.
- And its simple, I like simple! Easy to remember and easy to spell!
New homepage
- We are in the process of moving our website to a new domain https://cheatingwitches.com/ and going away from https://www.witchesandwizards.org/ ~ Please note the new url is not accessible right now and will be up and running very soon.
- Use the old website for now!
New Artist Candidates
- To speed up production I have made an application on F95 for an additional artist -> https://f95zone.to/threads/looking-for-an-additinal-2d-artist-for-ongoing-project.282785/#post-19089383
- Right now I have gotten two really interesting candidates, which already have gotten a task from me, to try to mimic our main artist style! We’ll see how it goes, and we might bring in a third candidate to see if they can help us speed up development!
- If you know some skilled artist, make them reach out on discord! Thank you!
- We might show of some of the results when they are done later.
Artwork / Animations
- Filch office is close to be complete, why its only 99% complete is I wanted something extra in there, which was really hard to fit in, so Yamkha have been working extra hard to add this "NTR element" in there so we can have some great NTR scenes in Filch office!
- Christmas Teaser 2, yeah im a huge sucker for this stuff, so I took rest of Yamkha's time to make a continuation of the original Christmas Teaser from last year, before end of the month! - If you have not seen it yet, its available on discord in the preview section!
Development / Coding
- Mike have added tons of expressions and arm variants to all Madam Pince's events and scenes in the current game. It looks amazing
- Also added blinking addition to Madam Pince!
Game Testing
- Nothing to report here.
Music & Sounds
- Looking into voices, nothing specific to report here since me and the team need to figure out if we can match voices to specific characters ~ With voices I mean moans.
General / Story
- Nothing much to report here
Planned for January
- Light and shadows to Filch office
- Pubes adding on Luna + Ginny
- A new background or maybe backbust, or facial expressions for all characters?
- Lets see how the new artist candidates are doing ~ Populate maps if time allows it.
- Other stuff???
